DHLM — Privacy Policy

DHLM is a private, single-user personal assistant built and operated by Davis Higgins for his own use. Sign-in is restricted to one authorized Google account; no other person can create an account or use the app.

Google user data DHLM accesses

• Basic profile (name, email address) — to confirm the authorized account at sign-in.
• Gmail (read-only) — to search and read messages the user asks about, and to identify job-application emails.
• Google Calendar (read-only) — to list upcoming events.
• Google Drive (read-only) — to search file metadata and read supported text files the user asks about.
• Optional, off by default: Gmail compose (create drafts) and Calendar events (create events). These are requested only when the user enables them, and each action requires explicit confirmation in the app. DHLM never sends email.

How the data is used

Google data is used only to answer the signed-in user's own requests and to show it back to that user inside DHLM. Content relevant to a request may be sent to the Google Gemini API to generate the answer. Google data is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with any other party, and not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

DHLM's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

• OAuth tokens are stored only in an encrypted, HTTP-only browser cookie. They are never written to a database, logs, or source code.
• Email, calendar, and Drive content is fetched on demand and not stored, except job-search records the user chooses to track (for example an email's sender, subject, snippet, and date, or an interview's calendar event ID). These are kept in DHLM's private database, which only the server can access.
• Usage, audit, and conversation records are kept in the same private database and can be deleted at any time.

Your control

Access can be revoked at any time from the Integrations page in DHLM or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On request, all stored DHLM data is deleted.
